NOW Foods' Water Out™ formula is a blend of herbs, potassium and vitamin B-6 that support urinary tract health.
More specifically:
- Gooseberry strengthens and stimulates the urinary tract. Its diuretic effect is due to the glycoside arbutin. During excretion, arbutin exerts an antiseptic effect on the urinary mucosa.
- Dandelion, by stimulating the urination process, helps natural detoxification processes, removing waste substances. It also adjuvantly enhances the treatment of chronic hepatitis and other liver problems, and helps to heal tissues damaged by liver disease due to alcohol consumption.
- Goldenrod promotes the loss of fluids from the body, and is most often used to treat urinary tract infections, as well as to prevent the development of kidney stones. Goldenrod contains saponins with strong anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties and flavonoids with antioxidant properties.
- Juniper is a tonic plant, suitable for the stomach. Promotes urination, significantly increasing its frequency. It also helps lower blood pressure and eliminate sodium and toxins such as uric acid from the body.
